Dr Keith w Roberts is a photographic educator, researcher and practitioner who has worked within the discipline of photography for over 25 years.

Keith was the Programme Leader for the B.A. (hons) Photography at St Helens College from 2004 to 2018, but has worked at The University of Bolton since June 2018, as a lecturer on both the B.A. and M.A. in photography.  Having worked freelance for publications such as ID Magazine, FACE Magazine and SAAB Magazine, his work has been published both nationally and internationally.

Keith's research deals specifically with photographic portraiture and archival intervention.  In 2019 he completed a PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University which focused upon the commercial portraiture component of the Edward Chambre Hardman archive, held at Liverpool Central Library.  Please see www.hardmanportrait.format.com for more details.

Keith also holds an M.A. in Fine Art from the University of Central Lancashire and an M.B.A. in International Business from Edge Hill University.  He is also an external examiner for both Staffordshire and Falmouth University.
